Lactate Dehydrogenase Isoenzyme 1(LDH1) Determination Reagent is an in vitro diagnostic test kit. This test is used for monitoring conditions that cause tissue damage, such as anemia, organ disease and some types of infections. LDH is a normal component of CSF. Increased amounts may occur in association with ischemic necrosis, meningitis, leukemia, metastatic cancer of the CNS, and lymphoma. LDH1 and LDH2 are decreased in lavage fluid in pulmonary alveolar proteinosis.
