INTENDED USE:

Linezolid CLIA Kit (Chemiluminescence Immunoassay) is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative detection of Linezolid (LZD) in human serum and plasma specimen. This product is intended to be used by laboratory professional workers only. This kit is used for auxiliary diagnosis. Results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, other laboratory parameters, and epidemiological information. Linezolid, as a new synthetic oxazolidinone antibacterial drug, mainly binds to the 23S site of ribosomal RNA on the 50S subunit of bacteria, hinders the connection between mRNA and ribosome, and prevents the 70S initiation complex formation, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat bacteremia caused by vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus, pneumonia and comprehensive skin infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and bacteremia caused by penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae.
