INTENDED USE:

Vancomycin CLIA Kit (Chemiluminescence Immunoassay) is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative detection of Vancomycin (VM) in human serum and plasma specimen. This product is intended to be used by laboratory professional workers only. This kit is used for auxiliary diagnosis. Results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, other laboratory parameters, and epidemiological information. Vancomycin, a tricyclic glycopeptide antibiotic, is the clinically preferred antibiotic for the treatment of severe infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis, and penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae.
