Lactate Dehydrogenase Determination Reagent

Lactate Dehydrogenase(LDH) Determination Reagent(Lactic acidsubstrate method) is an in vitro diagnostic test kit. This test is used for monitoring conditions that cause tissue damage, such as anemia, organ disease and some types of infections. LDH is a normal component of CSF. Increased amounts may occur in association with ischemic necrosis, meningitis, leukemia, metastatic cancer of the CNS, and lymphoma. LDH1 and LDH2 are decreased in lavage fluid in pulmonary alveolar proteinosis. One application of LD measurement is the differential diagnosis of intracranial hemorrhage in neonates versus traumatic tap.
