Intended use: Paclitaxel Determination Kit is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative detection of Paclitaxel (PTX) in human serum and plasma specimen. This product is intended to be used by laboratory professional workers only. This kit is used for auxiliary diagnosis. Results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, other laboratory parameters, and epidemiological information. Paclitaxel has significant anticancer activity and unique mechanism of action, and it is one of the three major achievements of international anticancer drugs in the 1990s. It is used in the treatment of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer and Kaposi's sarcoma, and is also being studied in combination with other anticancer drugs.
