25-hydroxy vitamin D Determination Kit is an in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative detection of 25-hydroxy vitamin D in human serum and plasma. 25-Hydroxy vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium, of which is a unique function of vitamin D, that is inducing the synthesis of calpain in the small intestine. At the same time, 1,25- dihydroxy D3 is delivered to the bone to promote calcium concentration.
