Methotrexate is a folic acid antitumor drug that widely used in the treatment of malignant tumors such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia, lymphoma, chorionic epithelial cancer and osteosarcoma. High-dose methotrexate combined with calcium leucovorin is one of the important treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, malignant lymphoma and osteosarcoma. High-dose methotrexate chemotherapy requires MTX blood concentration monitoring to guide the rational use of rescue drugs and avoid the serious side effects caused by MTX.
